Terms and Conditions:
This agreement is entered into by and between Skylink Airport Shuttle Services and the hirer.
1. Quotations
are always in South African Rand.
2. Prices based on the services of outside contractors may vary and any increase in charges will
be passed on to the hirer.
3.An acceptance of the quotation will be regarded as an acceptance of services to be rendered and the
full amount of the quote is payable 48 hours before departure.
4. The service cannot be cancelled except by mutual
agreement and where a cancellation has been agreed the following charges will apply:
CANCELLATION CHARGES.
1. Outside 48 hours of departure date full refund minus banking charges.
2. Inside 48 hours of departure date 25% of tariff cancellation charge.
3. Inside 24 hours of departure date 50% of tariff cancellation charge.
4. Inside 12 hours of departure date 100% of tariff cancellation charge.
5. Flight cancellations due to unforseen circumstances. Basic costs 50% of Tariff rate applies.
6. No Show and no warning given 100% of Tariff applies
5. The hirer undertakes to
observe any regulations of the Motor Carrier Transportation Act, Tourism Act, and Labour Act (Wage Determination 452) of the Republic
of South Africa, as amended from time to time, or of similar and appropriate laws of any other country or countries in which the vehicle
may travel during the travel of hire.
6. It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that the passengers obey any lawful instruction
given by the driver of the vehicle, as far as it relates to the safety of the passengers and the vehicles failure to comply with any
such instruction will result in the person or persons being asked to leave the vehicle immediately.
7. Guiding and guides remain the sole responsibility of the hirer and indemnifies Skylink from any prosecution which may arise from the transgression of the Tourism Act No 73 of 1993.
8. Smoking, the use of alcohol and drugs are STRICTLY not allowed in the vehicles FIREARMS or any
type of weapon are STRICTLY prohibited in any Skylink Vehicle.
9. Safety belts where fitted are compulsory to use.
10. Any loss damage or fouling of the interior or windows of the vehicle, its fittings or equipment due to the negligence or misconduct of any passenger, will be the responsibility of the hirer and the hirer will be charged the full costs of repairing any such damage or cleaning of the vehicle.
11. Skylink shall not be liable for any loss or damage to luggage and/or personal belongings.
12. Entrance fees to Parks, Game Reserves or parking charges are for the responsibility of the hirer.
13. To ensure punctuality and planning of
our services a detailed schedule reflecting all departure and arrival times, must be forwarded to Skylink at least two days
before the service is required.
14. Skylink has public passenger liability coverage and coverage by the South African Road
Accident Fund, passengers especially from overseas should ensure that they have adequate Medical Fund Insurance including Travel
Insurance before coming to South Africa.
16. We accept payment by Cash or Electronic Fund Transfer to our bankers
in South Africa.
17. We can not accept payment by Credit Cards due to high banking charges being levied against such transactions, which would have to be passed on to the customer. Customers can draw the necessary cash at any of the numerous A.T.M.'s which are conveniently placed at the Airports and Shopping Centres through out South Africa.
18. Shuttle Booking requests or Hire of Vehicles or Hire of Drivers will only be confirmed upon payment of the total quoted costs or minimum deposit of 25% of the total value of the invoice into our bank account, the remainder of the payment to be paid in full 48 hours before departure or in the case of a cash payment to be paid to the driver before departure. There are no exceptions to this rule.
19. SPECIALS! where and when advertised applies to individuals sharing to sun city pilanesberg and will only operate if a minimum of seven bookings are reserved.
